One of the things I love about my new obsession with writing utensils is that I know virtually nothing about them. I'm learning more about pens and pencils daily.

I love my Blackwing pencils and wrote about them recently. I came across a pair of posts on CW Pencils with beginner basics for pencil users. They are extremely helpful and make me realize that I've barely scratched the surface of the pencil world.

Thankfully, pencils are much cheaper than fountain pens.
