Giving the Sketchbook B Letter another shot
I had a monthly email newsletter in 2017 and 2018. I enjoyed putting it together, but when I was getting ready for graduate school in June 2018, I stopped sending them out.
I’m still intrigued by email newsletters — especially as I look for ways to move away from social media. It’s been over a year since I last sent an issue, but I’ve decided to relaunch my newsletter, the Sketchbook B Letter.
Each month, I’ll write a letter. Something a little more personal than your typical email newsletter. No marketing. No sales pitches. Just a letter about something I hope you may be interested in. An update about what’s going on with me and Sketchbook B. Maybe an occasional story about my family.
You can sign up for The Sketchbook B Letter below. Don’t worry, I’m not using your email for anything other than the newsletter. The first of the new emails will be sent on Wednesday, September 4.
I’ve always used Mailchimp for email newsletters and the new email is also being sent with Mailchimp. That said, today’s Mailchimp is far more powerful than I need for my simple email. I may eventually switch to TinyLetter — also owned by Mailchimp — but for the time being, I’m keeping things the way they are.
