An interesting article today on The State about "plans" to develop the riverfront between Gervais and Blossom into a park. There really aren't any concrete plans, but everyone wants to develop it after SCE&G finishes some environmental cleanup. I've heard talk of this for years. Hopefully this time, it will happen.

A riverfront park is #10 on my Wanted in Columbia list. But maybe I should move it up. I think a park there would help further transform that part of downtown Columbia.
